Successful installations don’t just happen, they are the result of clear client communication, detailed specification and planning, risk assessment, documentation and pre-installation preparation in readiness. Our expert team live and breath Christmas 365 days a year to ensure this is achieved.

As a full service Christmas company, we are experienced professionals in the installation and dismantlement of commercial Christmas decorations. Our clients include shopping centres, property management firms and local councils across the country.
We have highly skilled local installation and dismantlement teams who receive in depth training on our products and techniques to ensure our clients’ displays are installed to the highest possible standards.

Compliance

Christmas Display Solutions is CM3 Accredited through Greencap who annually audits our Workplace Health and Safety Management Plan, risk management and compliance systems. In addition, our products meet specific Australian engineering or safety standards as required. To ensure a safe and successful installation all business and stakeholder compliance requirements must be met. CDS can provide copies of required documents including SWMS, licences and insurances prior to the installation. Our advice is to consult your Health & Safety team as early as possible so that all compliance requirements are finalised prior to your installation date.

Safety Issues

Safety is our number 1 priority at Christmas Display Solutions. Our experienced team follows strict procedures to minimise all risks associated with the activities required to install and dismantle all Christmas displays.

Prior preparation is key to avoid common pitfalls:

  1. Plan ahead! Start planning now (the earlier the better).
  2. Communicate with your stakeholders to address any concerns or requirements they have.
  3. Get your operations team on board to arrange site and storage room access as well as additional security requirements.
  4. Confirm with the installer all entry and access requirements including optimal vehicle parking.
  5. Confirm lighting and air-conditioning are available and on manual override if late night or overnight installation. This is essential for crew health and safety.
  6. Notify your facilities team well in advance to ensure cleaning routines (e.g. floor polishes or high cleans) are not scheduled on I&D dates.
  7. If you are providing scissor lifts or similar equipment, please make sure they are accessible and fully charged.
  8. Retail assets should be mindful of extended trade and major retailer trading hours especially if it is essential for all I&D works to be carried out outside of trading hours.
  9. As I&D often happens after hours, it always pays to check in with the manager on duty on the day too, to keep everyone on the same page.

As for the rest, CDS clients can rest easy in the knowledge that our passionate team have over a decade of experience and work all year round to ensure their Christmas display visions are truly brought to life to create magical moments around Australia.
