Is CDS Hire Protection an insurance policy?
No. CDS Hire Protection is an optional contractual protection plan offered directly by Christmas Display Solutions to limit your liability for eligible claims under the terms and conditions of our Hire Agreement.
What incidents are covered under the plan?
Eligible claims include accidental damage, accidental breakage, vandalism, graffiti, theft, attempted theft, and unexplained disappearance during your hire period.
How do I add Hire Protection to my booking?
You can opt into CDS Hire Protection when finalising your display hire agreement. Contact our team prior to delivery to ensure your installation is covered.
How much does CDS Hire Protection cost?
CDS Hire Protection costs 20% of your total hire charges, plus GST. If you make an eligible claim, an additional excess of 25% of your total hire charges, plus GST, applies per incident. All protection is subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of your CDS Hire Agreement.
