LaManna Supermarket
LaManna Supermarket is a large premium European inspired retail business. Christmas Display Solutions was engaged to design, manufacture and install a storewide Christmas display, including an extensive Santa Set for family photos. LaManna wished to create a display which would become a must see Christmas destination in Melbourne and with elements which would create perfect photo and social media opportunities for marketing leverage.
Project Challenges
The most significant challenge was the size of the venue, being a floor space of 10,000 sq metres and the need to ensure complete coverage and integration within the budget constraints. The Santa Set needed to be spectacular and reflect a European elegance consistent with the premium brand of the business.
In addition all walls and ceilings were metal requiring creative fixing solutions.
Available ceiling and support columns throughout provided the perfect structures for affordable hanging decorations which were spread throughout using magnetic hooks. The use of decorated wall trees on the columns and hanging stars in clusters created affordable coverage and consistency, allowing the majority of the budget to be used for the main features. These included an 8 metre long custom made LED entrance arch to create the initial wow factor, a 4.2 metre decorated Christmas tree and the magical forest Santa Set covering 100 square metres.
The Christmas display was extremely well received by all the stakeholders with the LED entrance arch and the Santa Set being the stars of the show.
