City of Kingston initially engaged Christmas Display Solutions in a consulting capacity to develop a long term festive strategy and implementation plan. As a result of this successfully being received, CDS was further engaged to design, manufacturer and install their new decoration rollout, as well completing any required repairs and decoration storage in between seasons.
Project Background
Key areas within the City of Kingston needed to be determined in addition to optimal decoration types identified for each precinct. A bespoke decoration suite was designed to compliment the premium City of Kingston branding and ensure a unique yet consistent festive experience was enjoyed in all precincts.

CDS collaborated with the fantastic team at the City of Kingston to ensure the community’s priorities and expectations were at the core of our decoration design and manufacturing processes. Each precinct’s decorations were intentionally designed to deliver optimal impact in addition to both daytime and nighttime appeal. Quality commercial grade decorations were designed and manufactured to withstand the external elements and last for a number of years.
The Result
The first stage of the City of Kingston’s festive strategy saw four key precincts activated with new decorations. Stakeholder feedback was very positive with the community looking forward to the next stages being delivered in 2024 and 2025.
